Reviews for "Satanorium"

Couldn't finish it...

I just didn't feel like going back to the walkthrough every time something was bugged or the clues were incorrect, like the one with the safe. The writing on the wall says that the "third is first and fourth" when the fourth is said to be twice the first (which is two) so, logically, the third number is 6. When I went to the walkthrough after trying what the clues tell you to do with no results it turns out the third and fourth number are actually switched, so instead of 23643 it's 23463 and there are no clues telling the player about this...NOT cool...

2 stars for being poorly made. These games are centered around the clues, and numerous things need more clues, namely the generator puzzle and that timing is required to get past the security guard at the beginning.

On the bright side, I love the ambiance sounds and the atmosphere. Very dark and creepy without being too cliche. Very good job.

OMG this is so stupid.

Ok... so you can't whack the guard with the pipe... you can't. You can't. You can't. Wait. You can on the 28th try. Stupid.

You need to pick up every stupid little thing off the guard... Then go inside the compound. Find a room too dark. Good thing I brought a lighter... that doesn't seem to work at all. Stupid game.

Find another room locked with... rope.... uh... OK. I have scissors from a desk too dark to see. I only knew I got them from random clicking when I saw a popup, and a lighter... Each one would get though rope in short order... nope... of course common sense doesn't work this is a stupid game. One I care not to play anymore.

Boo!

I was so excited... it looked so promising... the environments were great, ambience was sufficiently spooky, I was stoked. Then I couldn't figure out the very first thing without the walkthrough (god forbid you don't click on the guard at the right time). Okay, moving on. Then there was no clue to the generator, which others have complained about but I was lucky enough to have been trying multiples of five and got it without cheating. Then I discover it's one of those games where you can't pick things up until the game wants you to, which potentially nullifies the pixel-checking you do on each screen as soon as something gets accomplished. The safe- ahh the safe... here i was thinking it was clockwise, then counter, then clockwise again. Nope, two rings, which didn't even register on my mouse at first. Then come to find out your clues are wrong! Your clues state "First is two, 2nd = 3, third is first and fourth, 4 = twice first, five equal second" Therefore, the code should be 23643 (third is first and fourth means third is 2 and twice 2, or 4, which is six). however the walkthrough shows the code to be 23463, which I cannot get to make sense from said clues (i.e., the clue for the third number (1st and 4th) by your answer would mean it is 8, not 6 which is right, OR 4, which is your answer). Very sloppy! The safe is hard enough without false clues to retard the process!!!! Got frustrated, tried to read reviews, which unloaded the game (stupid me). So I jump back to it, prepare to run-through it all again to that point, and lo and behold if you turn on the generator before grabbing the scissors, they disappear! After a while I came back, gave it a third and final runthrough, found the pentagram clues to be fairly off-kilter (recommend one color, recommend against another, but it's the third color that does the trick... hmm). And a clue SOMEWHERE to tell which symbols are called what would have been nice. All in all, meh. Such potential, I can't wait to see what happens when you really apply yourself.

it was a need improvment in everything

it was confusing with the plot

eh i've seen a lot better

seriously... get a spell checker or something to. oh, and try not to make the puzzles freaking impossible.
