Hell yea man, great game total Zelda nostalgia its like playin old NES zelda on new school console. This is bad ass and if u can get past any legal issues u might incur i would be throwin this thing on Xbox Live for purchase like Super Meat Boy nad many other newgrounds titles
Its definitely something I have been thinking about. i don't think I would run into any actual legal problems since I have not taken anything directly from the game.

Nice.
Quite good, overall. It definitely has that nice, Zelda feel to it. I haven't played my original Zelda game in a few years, so this really gave me that warm, fuzzy nostalgic feeling inside.
I only have two criticisms:
1. The story line. While I never expected it to be ground-breaking (considering that this is a free game, after all), it was still not very well written. Not a huge deal, but it kinda took away from some of the experience as a whole. Whenever an NPC spoke, or one of the cutscenes would pop up, some of it seemed almost as if it was typed up as an afterthought, and just thrown in at the last minute.
2. Gradually more and more slow game character? My computer is less than a year old, so I don't think it's an issue on my end, but the longer I play this game, the slower my character seems to move. I.E. I'll attempt to roll away from an enemy, and it's only after I get hit that he'll roll.
That's it. I'm just nitpicking really. Despite that, it really is a very cute game. I'm still playing it as I submit this review, actually ^_^
I love the game but some issues...
The first issue I will bring up is the 'special items' you can supposedly get by playing at the other site. Now, that's ok and all, but he feature doesn't actually WORK. It just makes you open another page to the same site.
Second problem, which has been addressed by the seems, is the lag that seems to build up whenever day and night switches. I can't understand why, but it's so laggy after 5 minutes of a day/night switch that controls cease to work properly.
Third problem. After multiple refreshes, eventually, the game just ceases to load the movie file. Don't know why... but it annoys me as I got quite some progress when it stopped working.
Overall though, I LOVE the game, it's just a shame the game breaks so much... if you'd like to resubmit it to fix these problems (and the problems on the other site, where I played it a bit further for the special items promised) then I'd appreciate.

This game was very fun and interesting to play, my only complaint apart from it being a little sluggish at times was the fact that even though I saved and it auto saved I still lost the first couple minutes and 1,000 gold. I don't really feel like hunting for all that again.
Auto saves occur when you enter a new room. Sorry I should have made that known.
