Lots in common with Mardek, but man, Mardek was such a great game that to have things in common is not a bad thing at all. Interesting story, I like the background story with the books and npc's dialogs. But here are two things that really annoyed me (well one more than the other): You can't customize the controls or at least use arrows+"z"and "x" keys (arrows work by themselves but is a pain in the ass playing with arrows+j+k and the the fact that you have to manually grab your loot (something you only tell the player in a tiny sentence on the top of the screen, I missed every loot till one or two battles before the final one when I noticed it.
Anyway, overall is a nice game, so keep the good work and I'll be waiting to enjoy part 2.
