If you manage to escape from a secret laboratory where you've been experimented on all your life, where would you hide? In a school only a few miles away after somehow managing to enroll in it when you hadn't previously been a part of society? Brilliant.....
So yeah, the backstory was a little shoddy. Ami also kills a couple people over being bullied and expects to get away with it. That isn't self defense, that's murder.
All in all it read like a bad fanfic, at least when it came to character development and backstory. Obvious effort had went into writing the parts in between.
The character art was pretty good, but some were just stuck in the same awkward positions. I doubt anybody would take the main character with the crooked neck seriously. Background art was...in the background, I guess. I really liked the font and the title art.
My character's name was "Matsuda, you idiot!"
