This game touched me unlike any other game I have ever played, I am a fan pf rpg games and ragnarok online had a big role in my love in mmorpgs . I got a little excited when I saw this game come out, so I decided to try it out, and to my surprise it became the first game that activated my inner passions lost years ago. I hate you and at the same time I love you for making such a perfect game I am envious in how you came up with such a feat after finishing the game 57 hours for 100% completion (20 hours straight on first playthrough) you sir have made my day - no acutally you made 3 of my days. I have never felt this way before 5/5.... ~ily <3

I think video game is a powerful tool of art.
Take the beginning of this game for example, you can truly feel the touch and the bond of a handshake. With this you can really feel 'touched' and relate to the character that you are roleplaying as.
At first, I am rather happy with the graphics and the seeming customization hints me this game will give importance to freedom of choice, which I crave.
Immediatly after that, I not that the yes/no dialogue or object interaction options don't always make sense.
Then I come across the exact subject I came here to forget. The character picture does not fit the universe and graphics I was happy with, it resembles Manuel Valls, Prime minister of my country.
I end up being taunted about my unemployment... But FUCK OFF MANUEL YOU SILLY OUTDATED CORRIDA SUPPORTER ! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ? NOBODY EVER VOTED FOR YOU ANYWAY !
OK ! Great ! Enough for trolling ! Maybe I am not being fair. This game seems too well-designed to be nothing more than that. I Restart. Taunted... and taunted again. Reviews bug me. Judging by them I still cannot say if this is a joke or an actual game that won't explain its gameplay. The feeling is awful. But it would be bad anyway. Maybe the dialogue options can make sense if I choose the right feature at the beginning but what about the freedom of choice I was expecting ? I just as well could end up spending hours trying while this was only trolling me. It is likely to be this because its been several times now so I am ashamed I took time to write this for you. But if you were sincere I should write it anyway : you can still tell me I am doing it wrong, in original games, gameplay hints should be within the game, not in the reviews. For they are reviews, not a hotline.

This game absolutely emphasizes the freedom of choice.
You were given numerous choices at start to develop your character, and by choosing your attributes (such as Strength and Intelligence) you have also chosen the path that you will take, or at least should want to take in the rich world of Ragnarok: Iridescent Transcendence.
Of course, perhaps this game offered TOO MUCH freedom, because not every build nor decision would always work out in reality. I mean you can't expect to wrestle a bear if you didn't put any points into STR, and you can't expect to get hired as a manager if you only have experience in swordfighting.
I suppose the lesson at the end of the day is; despite the freedom to do whatever we want, we all need to make sensible and rational decisions throughout our lives in order to remain relevant in this doggy dog world. This theme is thoroughly explored in the 20 hour playthrough of Ragnarok: Iridescent Transcendence.

Wow....just wow! If you take into account all the bonus/side missions it'll take you weeks of play to 100% this stunningly written masterpiece. Having played the original game for many many years, this is everything and more for any MMORPG fan.
I'm on to my third play through now (as one of the many different playable characters) if I'm lucky i'll finally reach "Master Knight King" rank.
